Prescriptions went up in price on 1st. April and are now £9.00. However a pre-payment certificate is unchanged at £104/year which means that if you have 1 item every 28 days you will save at least

On 29th. November a new computer system will be installed in the pharmacy. This is likely to reduce our capacity to dispense on both 29th and 30th.
Please allow extra time if you are ordering a repeat between 26th.and 30th.November and try to avoid collecting on 29th. and 30th. November.
We will still be open and doing our best, but everything might take just a little bit longer.

NHS National Diabetes audit
If you collect a prescription which includes any medicine used to manage diabetes, for an adult, between 5th and 10th November, you will be asked to complete a very short questionnaire about flu
vaccination on the spot. It should take less than 2 minutes.

The NHS has this week launched the "Check before you tick! " campaign to help patients understand their eligibility for free NHS prescriptions and
how to claim correctly. It also highlights that the NHS is significantly increasing the number of claims checked each month and possible consequences of making an incorrect claim – a penalty charge
of up to £100. Be certain and use the improved NHS online eligibility checker.
